The Frog-King; or, Iron Henry

"King's Daughter, youngest!     Open to me!     Don't you remember yesterday,     And all that you to me did say,     Beside the cooling fountain's spray?     King's Daughter, youngest!     Open to me!" Once upon a time, there lived a King whose daughters were all beautiful, but the youngest was so beautiful as the sun. There was a fountain in a great dark forest closed by the King's castle. On a sunny day, the King's daughter went out into the forest and sat down by the side of the cool fountain, and when she was bored, she took a golden ball, and threw it up in the air, and caught it. And this ball was her favorite plaything. But, when she threw it up again, her ball did not fall into her little hand, but on to the ground, and rolled straight into the water. It vanished right away, and the well was deep, so deep that the bottom could not be seen. She was sad and began to cry. When she was crying, she heard someone's voice. She looked around

The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse

"How do you do, Mr. Jackson? Deary me, you have got very wet!"     "Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mrs. Tittlemouse! I'll sit awhile and dry myself," said Mr. Jackson.     He sat and smiled, and the water dripped off his coat tails. Mrs. Tittlemouse went round with a mop.     Once upon a time, there was a wood-mouse, and her name was Mrs. Tittlemouse. She lived in a bank under a hedge. Her house had yards and yards of sandy passages, leading to storerooms and nutcellars and seed-cellars, all amongst the roots of the hedge. She was a really tidy particular little mouse, always sweeping and dusting the soft sandy floors. But she got upset because many creatures, such as a beetle, a ladybird, and a spider came into her house without any invitation. Mrs. Tittlemouse didn't like her house getting messy. One day, someone new visited her house. What will happen to Mrs. Tittlemouse?

"I've got you now, laddies," said Dr MacTavish. "What are you two doing?" "My mum will call the police," yelled Alex, hoping someone would hear.          One day, a new neighbor moves to next to Alex's house. His name is MacTavish and he is a doctor. A lot of weird things are come out of his van, for example, a huge set of antlers, a skeleton, and a table shaped like an elephant. Alex is watching Mactavish carrying something odd from Alex's yard. He is really interested in what he is watching. The driver brings a large packing box down the ramp. He looks really nervous. Then, he  slipped when he stepped off the ramp. At the moment, a loud groan echoes across the street. Alex is surprised and looks up. He expects to see an animal in pain. However, there was nothing there except the van driver, Dr. MacTavish, and the box. Alex thinks that Dr. MacTavish is really weird and he had some animal trapped in a box. That night, a loud wailing noise
